Port Douglas Backpackers is an 18 to 35’s Youth Hostel which happens to be located smack bang in the centre of town so you can get pretty much everywhere by foot including 4 Mile Beach which is just a 5 minute walk!

Self Driving
It’s super easy to get to Port Douglas from Cairns on the spectacular Captain Cook Highway and takes just under an hour. Just follow the signs north and about 45 minutes later you’ll turn right into the town. Head all the way along the main road in and we are just one street back off the main street of town. We have some limited parking on site but you must check with our staff.
